How You Can Help

The Objective
To help break the poverty cycle by promoting education and micro-enterprises, while supporting health and nutrition, and alleviating specific hindering hardships on needy families.
To help accomplish this, the Love for Peru Foundation has developed a comprehensive database program that serves to capture detailed information from all the people that are assisted by the foundation. This databank provides the necessary platform from where to identify and prioritize needs, and is instrumental to procure and better derive resources.
Areas Where You Can Help
  1. Education (school supplies and uniforms, scholarships for trade schools and college, arts and music, etc.)
  2. Medical (surgeries, treatment of illnesses, rehab, eye care, dental care, etc.)
  3. Housing (replacement of cardboard and straw dwellings, installation of tin roofs, concrete slabs, as well as assistance for homeowners to obtain property titles)
  4. Family Needs (food baskets, appliances, furniture, blankets, clothing, seed money for businesses, etc.)
  5. Projects (libraries, water, waste treatment, community kitchens, training and income generating shops, etc.)
  6. General Fund (wherever needed the most)
The assistance will be allocated by area and distributed by categories according to need, to be identified and generated by our proprietary databank system.
Note: The Empowerment Program does not contemplate for the exclusive sponsorship of children, though the Love for Peru Foundation strongly encourages team members and the Foundation supporters to foster ‘big-brother’ type relationships and long-lasting friendships with the children and families in Peru. The reason exclusive sponsorship is not being contemplated is to safeguard the children's character, integrity, and self-esteem, as it will prevent all unsponsored children from feeling left out. The Love for Peru Foundation firmly believes it is imperative for us to always live by our mission motto: 'All for One, and One for All'.
Guidelines for Giving
  1. Donors can elect to contribute to support a specific area, such as education, medical, housing, family needs, projects, or simply can make blanket donations to be used in the general fund.
  2. Donors can elect to make monthly, yearly, or need-base contributions, or simply make a one-time donation to the fund.
  3. The Love for Peru Foundation will assign 100% of the funds donated to the area of support selected by the donor.
Note: All contributions are tax deductible, as the Love for Peru Foundation is registered in the State of Florida as a 501(c)(3) corporation.
Matching Gifts
Many companies match donations made by employees, their spouses, and retirees. Please check with your personnel office to determine if your gift to the Love for Peru Foundation qualifies for a matching gift.
